Heesen Yachts has seen significant growth in recent years, much like our yachts. To ensure projects are delivered smoothly within budget and on schedule, the yard has established the Project Management Office, which coordinates complex construction processes across various disciplines. Delivery Management guarantees a seamless final phase and delivery. Technical Services & After Sales assists owners with the appropriate service and original parts for an optimal customer experience.
Our project teams consist of Project Leaders from Engineering and Production, supported by a Project Buyer and a Project Controller. The Project Manager leads the team and is supported by a Project Planner. The shared goal is clear: to deliver every project within budget, on schedule and according to specifications, and to the full satisfaction of the client.
The project team is responsible for the entire process, from design to the delivery of the yacht, with the client constantly at the center. Project Managers translate client wishes into feasible and efficient solutions, while maintaining the balance between client expectations and the shipyard’s capabilities in terms of both time and budget. Strong commercial and technical skills are indispensable in this regard, as is the careful management of expectations.
Heesen Yachts distinguishes itself through high quality upon delivery and smooth, trouble-free sea trials. From the launch, Delivery Management is responsible for the entire delivery process, including regulations, documentation, and sea trials. The Delivery Manager coordinates and organizes all activities from the launch through to the final delivery.
In close collaboration with Production, the Delivery Manager aligns both internal and external parties to successfully commission all installations. The goal is clear: the shortest possible List of Minor Defects upon handover and a customer who watches the yacht set sail with a sense of satisfaction.
The Yard Captain steers the yacht, supervises and manages the sea trials, and leads the team on board. Additionally, he plays a crucial role as an ambassador for Heesen Yachts during the customer’s first sailing introduction to the yacht.
Within this department, the Warranty Project Leaders are the primary point of contact for customers and crews following the delivery of the yacht. They are available 24/7 to provide support with questions or problems and visit the yacht regularly to identify additional requirements and potential areas for improvement.
Internally, the Warranty Project Leaders are supported by the Technical Services team. Together, they ensure that the customer has a positive and high-quality experience throughout the entire warranty period. Lessons learned are actively fed back within the shipyard and form the basis for structural improvements.
The intensive customer contact and the collaborative resolution of issues to the satisfaction of both the customer and the shipyard make this role dynamic, challenging, and particularly valuable.
We are happy to make Heesen yacht owners and their crews part of our family. This department plays a unique connecting role between the customer and the shipyard. Because we know the yacht inside out, maintenance and repairs can be coordinated efficiently and carefully.
Requests for spare parts and service are handled quickly and effectively, with direct offers and close cooperation with our service hubs and trusted maintenance partners. By consistently offering the right solution and striving for an optimal customer experience, Technical Services lays a solid foundation for long-term relationships, returning customers, and the future success of the shipyard.
