Heesen Yachts has seen significant growth in recent years, much like our yachts. To ensure projects are delivered smoothly within budget and on schedule, the yard has established the Project Management Office, which coordinates complex construction processes across various disciplines. Delivery Management guarantees a seamless final phase and delivery. Customer Support & After Sales assists owners with the appropriate service and original parts for an optimal customer experience.

Project Management Office

Our project teams comprise Project Leaders from Engineering and Production, supported by a Project Buyer and a Project Controller. The Project Manager leads the team, with assistance from a Project Planner. Delivering every project within budget, on time, in accordance with specifications, and to a satisfied customer: that is the objective. The project team oversees the entire process, from design to the delivery of the yacht, with the customer at the centre. The Project Managers convert customer desires into feasible solutions and strike a balance between customer requirements and site capabilities within the constraints of time and budget. Both commercial and technical skills are crucial, as is the management of expectations.

Delivery Management

Heesen Yachts sets itself apart through high quality at delivery and seamless sea trials. Delivery Management oversees delivery, regulations, documentation, and sea trials from the launch. The Delivery Manager coordinates all activities from launch to delivery. In collaboration with Production, the Delivery Manager aligns both internal and external parties for the commissioning of installations. The objective is to ensure the shortest possible List of Minor Defects upon transfer and to see a satisfied customer depart. The Yard Captain sails the yacht, manages the sea trials and the onboard team, and serves as a key ambassador during the customer’s initial sailing experience with the yacht.

Customer Support

In this department, the Project Leaders Warranty is the primary point of contact for customers and crews following the delivery of the yacht. They assist customers around the clock with any issues and regularly inspect the yacht to gather feedback on preferences and areas for enhancement. Internally, the Project Leader Warranty receives support from the Customer Support team to collaboratively ensure that the customer enjoys a positive experience during the warranty period. Insights gained from the yacht are relayed within the yard to facilitate structural improvements. The significant customer interaction and the challenge of resolving issues to the satisfaction of both the client and the yard make this role both demanding and appealing.

After Sales

We aim to keep Heesen owners and their crews within our family. This department plays a unique connecting role between the customer and the shipyard. As the yard knows the yacht inside and out, we can efficiently coordinate maintenance and repairs. Spare parts and service requests are addressed swiftly by providing instant offers and engaging with trusted maintenance partners for support. By offering the right solutions and an exceptional customer experience, After Sales lays the groundwork for returning customers and the yard’s future success.
