From Blueprint to Perfection
With the briefing in hand, you get to work in the workshop. Using detailed drawings and cutting lists, you create interior components for our luxury yachts. Since weight is a crucial factor in yacht building, you’ll work with lightweight materials such as poplar plywood, Queenply, and balsa, finished with HPL, lacquer, and the most exclusive veneers. This demands precision, craftsmanship, and an eye for detail.

Every piece you craft is unique and custom-made. While you work independently, you stay in close contact with your foreman and project leader to discuss progress. Along the way, you conduct meticulous quality checks to ensure everything aligns perfectly with the design and technical specifications.

Collaboration and Craftsmanship
At Heesen, multiple teams collaborate to bring each yacht to life. The interior team consists of four departments: Engineering, Workshop, Paint Shop, and Mounting. These departments work closely together to deliver a high-end interior, from initial drawings to final installation. As a Carpenter/Furniture Maker, you remain involved throughout the entire process—from production to launch.
