Are you the scaffolder who will help us grow to the highest level of luxury yacht building?

Then we’d like to meet you

We are looking for a scaffolder. You have the opportunity to guarantee a qualitative and safe working environment for your colleagues and to make your contribution to luxury yacht building.

  • What will you be doing?

As a scaffolder, you will be involved in installing, modifying and dismantling scaffolding. It is of course important that you are familiar with the official safety rules. Any experience with hoisting work is extremely valuable. If not, you must be keen and willing to undertake extra training. Each day, the foreman will inform you of the height and hall location of scaffolding to be modified or installed. Together with the team of expert colleagues, you will install the scaffolding or modify it as required. This is a very responsible task, as it guarantees working safety. You ensure that your colleagues can work safely on the scaffolding.
Our core values are reliability, quality, customer orientation, expertise, ownership and teamwork! As a scaffolder at Heesen, you must reflect these qualities. You are flexible and are willing to work hard. Have you always wanted to work indoors and to be part of an organisation? At Heesen, it is not only the metres which count but also the safety and quality of the scaffolding. You are also contributing to the realisation of fantastic super yachts on a day-to-day basis.
This position at Heesen is ideal for a scaffolder who wants to be part of a team but is also looking to undertake professional training to acquire the necessary certificates.

  • Where will you work?

All scaffolding work takes place at the shipyard in Oss. You will be active in a number of production halls. Besides construction of the scaffolding, our team of scaffolders is responsible for modification and dismantling of scaffolding throughout the shipyard. Of course this also includes any related work. Such as tidying away materials and ensuring a well-organised workplace, for example. All work takes place under the supervision of an experienced foreman. The solidarity and team spirit is unique. Colleagues have each other’s backs. And there is a great sense of quality. Communication is direct, in an open and informal atmosphere.

  • Who are we looking for?

As a scaffolder, you will be involved in installing, modifying and dismantling scaffolding. You have affinity with our product and you want to build on our customers’ dreams together with us. You are keen to learn and would like to become specialised by undertaking training, for example. You believe strongly in gaining knowledge and learning from others. You work independently and accurately but are also energised when working in a team. Say what you do and do what you say, is your motto. This makes you reliable, so that colleagues can depend on you. You are not satisfied with 7 out of 10, you require quality. You show leadership and are not afraid to speak up when there is a risk of something going wrong.

    Education and experience:

      • You have a DNV certificate, or you are very motivated to gain this certificate.
      • You have experience as a scaffolder.
      • You enjoy working independently but also learning from others.
      • You are service-oriented and you deliver quality within the agreed time.
