Our Shipbuilding production department is looking for a Working Foreman. As a professional specialist, you will contribute greatly to the high quality of our super yachts.

  • What will you be doing?

    As a Working Foreman, you will be in charge of a small team of Welders, Pipe fitters and/or Sheet metal workers, and will coordinate all the work taking place during the shipbuilding hull phase. You supervise the team on a day-to-day basis, steering them in terms of quality, safety, agreements, finishing, order and neatness. You regularly consult with the Foreman, Project Leader and the Assistant Manager in order to gear and schedule the work. Your tasks also include (interim) checking and assessment of the end results, as well as taking care of the necessary reporting. You also ensure the quality of working methods in accordance with corporate rules, Occupational health, environmental and safety standards. When necessary, you work alongside your colleagues.

  • Where will you work?

    The Shipbuilding & Exterior production department realises the complete construction of the yacht. Shipbuilding production and Exterior production share responsibility with Mechanical production and Interior production for the actual construction of the yacht. This all takes place at the shipyard in Oss. An innovative and professional working environment which is constantly developing.

  • Who are we looking for?

    You have experience as a Working Foreman in yacht building or in construction, and are ready for a new challenge. You are a true team player and capable of providing colleagues with constructive feedback. You have good communication skills, and are independent, decisive and solution oriented.

  • What do you need?
      • A completed MBO background in shipbuilding/construction/metal or working experience in a comparable position.
      • Proven experience in leadership.
      • Good knowledge of the English language.
      • Knowledge of various computer systems.
      • Experience in yacht building or shipbuilding is an advantage.
