Are you a driven engineer with a passion for high-quality interior construction and exclusive yachts?

We want to hear from you!

We are looking for a Planner for our Interior Engineering Department. We need a dedicated engineer who embraces the challenges of realising complex interior projects at the highest level of the yacht building industry.

  • What will you do?

As a Planner in the Interior Engineering Department, you will be in touch with every department concerned with the development of the technical layout and equipment of our yacht interiors. Together with the Project Leader and Draftsmen, you will translate the basic designs to a detailed layout drawing. When working in the top tier of yacht construction, all yachts have to meet demanding requirements. Our yachts are light yet strong, offering maximum interior space and comfort. No project is the same, and within every yacht, you will apply the highest quality standards, cost-effectively working with valuable materials. Working with suppliers, you will be responsible for ensuring that all materials meet industry standards and are received on time. The Planner’s work ensures an efficient build process and the creation of a product you can be proud of: there is no greater satisfaction watching a Heesen project transforming into a world-class superyacht, on time and budget.

  • Where will you work?

The Interior Engineering Department in Winterswijk creates the drawings, project and purchasing instructions for Heesen‘s yacht interiors. Driven by craftsmanship, dedication and teamwork, we create products at the highest quality in the world – our yacht interiors are well-known for their exceptional quality. After a precise final check, the interior components will be transported to the Heesen shipyard in Oss, where our team will mount the components on board. A characteristic of the Interior Engineering Department is a shared passion for craftsmanship amongst all employees, with a focus on a perfect final result. The typical attitude of the Achterhoekse region translates into an open atmosphere with direct communication, and you will enjoy a social and welcoming work environment.

  • Who are we looking for?

You are an ambitious and driven person who is eager to excel as an engineer. You have previous experience in interior building and have a passion for luxury yachts. You have sufficient basic knowledge of materials and are enthusiastic to learn more about the latest developments in yacht engineering to add to your already solid general understanding of interior building. You are punctual, flexible, can work independently and are solution-oriented. Within your team, you are communicative and collegial with strong character.

    Education and experience:

    • HBO-degree in the field of interior building/carpentry, combined with 3 years’ relevant work experience.
    • OR MBO-degree in the field of interior building/carpentry, combined with 5 years’ relevant work experience.
    • Proven experience in project management, policy implementation, planning and budget control.
    • A comprehensive level of both English and German (oral and written).
    • Experience with AutoCAD.
  • What we offer

At Heesen, the happiness of our employees is important to us. That’s why we offer all Heesen employees a job with responsibility, collegiality and appreciation. You will get all the space to further develop yourself and grow.
